939 Rumput Market Traders to Occupy New Kiosks Soon

Relocation process will start from August 1-14 after the issuance of permits from the Public Works and Public Housing Ministry

As many as 939 traders in the Rumput Market, South Jakarta will be occupy a new market in the forthcoming August. 

Temporary Shelter Capacity at Rumput Market Is Inadequate

"Relocation process will start from August 1-14 after the issuance of permits from the Public Works and Public Housing Ministry. There will be cooperation agreements with traders. Only traders can occupy kiosks who have undergone raffling stage," expressed Parumda Pasar Jaya Public Relations Assistant Manager, Amanda Gita Dinajar, Tuesday (7/30).

Those kiosks are built on the renovated market that has three floors and 1,510 kiosks. Every trader is obligated to pay for electricity, water and market management fee fees (BPP).

"Its amount will be socialized after they occupy the market," he told.

After the market handover, his party will impose the usufructuary rights to the trader's place of business. "By so, they will be charged the purchase fee, use right to the place of business, the amount to be borne by us must be agreed upon with them first," he said.
